Exhibition - ARCHIDEX 2010
Colourcoil Industries recently participated in the internationally-renowned and much anticipated Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition 2010 which was held from July 1-4, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

This was the 3rd time Colourcoil participated in ARCHIDEX, the first time being in 2006.

We are delighted to note that Colourcoil Industries was the only Sabah-based company to have participated in this grand scale event, which was participated by more than 300 exhibitors and visited by more than 30,000 people mostly consisting of architects, interior designers and property developers from all over the world.

Visitors to our booth were very excited to find out more about the new PVF2 Series pre-painted steel in Kool solar-reflective colours, complying with the Malaysian Green Building Index and especially the United State’s Energy Star programme requirements.

To highlight the difference in solar reflectance between normal PVF2 coated steel and PVF2 coated steel which were in our Kool solar-reflective colours, we showcased 2 model houses each with the 2 different coated steel as their roofs, and radiated infra-red lighting on the roof surfaces to simulate the sun’s solar rays.

Obviously the model house which used our pre-painted steel in our Kool solar-reflective colour gave a lower reading in roof surface temperature and inside attic temperature compared to the other model house using just normal pre-painted steel. This enabled visitors to visually see the difference and understand the importance of selecting pre-painted steel containing our Kool solar-reflective colours to enable them to have a cooler building environment and contribute to a more energy-efficient building system.

Colourcoil Industries wishes to thank all the visitors to our booth during the exhibition for their kind attention and their continuous support. We definitely look forward to participate in more exciting and bigger events in the future and to seeing you all again.
