Technology - The State-of-the-Art Infrared Curing Technology
Infrared ovens play an essential role in the drying, curing, pre-heating and processing of wood, metal, leather, plastics, ceramics and chemicals. The basic curing process consists of four stages: melt, flow out, crosslink and cure. By its very nature provides control that are virtually impossible to attain with most other curing processes. Infrared curing gives brilliant smooth finishes that are virtually blemish free.

Recent Events
Colourcoil Industries Sdn. Bhd. recently held a seminar on 6th May 2006 at the Pacific Sutera Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, for professional consultants involved in the building industry. World leader in PVF2 coatings, ARKEMA gave a presentation on the proven extraordinary performance of KYNAR500 coating. "Today, KYNAR500 is the architect's first choice globally", remarked Mr. Tony Ngawing, ARKEMA Asia Pacific Manager. ARKEMA is proud to support Colourcoil Industries as only genuine full strength KYNAR500 coatings are used in their COLOURCOIL high performance pre-painted steel series.

Citytop Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. and DML Sdn. Bhd., both local manufacturers of metal roofing and ceiling products respectively, were also invited to participate by setting up booths to showcase their products manufactured with COLOURCOIL^® high performance pre-painted steel.

Many architects were impressed by the new and exciting colours of the showcase especially the Metallic Series. "They literally look like precious metals resembling silver and copper", commented some. Lunch was provided followed by lucky draws with three winners receiving the latest handphone sets.

The event was a great success generating greater awareness and also the availability of these world class products available here locally, proudly made in Sabah, Malaysia. Colourcoil Industries will be participating in DEX06 & Architex06 Exhibition held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center from 6 -9 July this year.

 On July 6 - 9, Colourcoil Industries will be participating in DEX06/Architex06 held at the KL Convention Center. Did You Know...........?
Lead is a highly toxic metal that was used for many years in products found around our home. Lead may cause a range of health effects, from behavioral problems and learning disabilities, to seizures and death. Children 6 years old and under are most at risk.

Lead is mostly found in lead-based paint coatings used for low quality prepainted steel. Therefore if you are planning to consume or use rain water from your roof, be careful. Check with your roofing manufacturer first.
